Returning to the theme of Hong Kong ghost and horror movies, the following book is a useful guide in the English language of the genre dating from its heyday in the 80s

That looks interesting!

Just received this one (cheap used):
Looks like a fun companion to the previous book Sex and Zen & A Bullet in the Head which I already owned.
Both are older books and cover mainly 80s/90s HK films (the Shaws are also briefly mentioned) but since they are my main interest I don't mind that at all. ;)

I recently bought a couple of City Connection dvd-r's from Buyoyo.
Started watching The Complicated Raping Case and there's something weird, either a cut or bad authoring as the first rape (on the table with the rich guy watching) is completely missing?
Does anyone have the City Connection dvd and is this normal?

I'm talking about this (scene from 1:54 onwards)

Btw noticed that this video has no sound for part of the scene,is that normal?

So many questions... :)
Thanks for reading.
