I got the Argentinian release of Pray for Death recently....

I'll post some pics of some stuff I got later...

yeah man, very interested to see that tape! :ph43r: ;)

I thought Pray for Death was a huge disappointment after watching Revenge of the Ninja. Pray for Death wasn't half as bloody (I suspect I got the censored version) and fast-paced as Revenge of the Ninja. Besides that, Sho faces a skilled ninja in 'Revenge', while he beats up an old thug in 'Pray'. Fastforwarded my way through most of it, honestly...

each to there own i suppose. been a favourite since seeing it as a child. the villain in it is so over the top! good wholesome slice of eighties cheese!! :ph43r:

If you like Sho Kosugi fighting over the top villains, you might wanna give 9 Deaths of the Ninja a try. Villain's just don't get more over the top than that! Because of that I enjoyed 9 Deaths slightly better than Pray for Death, but Revenge of the Ninja remains my favorite Kosugi-vehicle.

Apparently he also stars in the upcoming Ninja Assassin, written by renowned comic scribe J Michael Straczinsky. Could be fun... :ph43r:

No love for Revenge of the Ninja then? Too bad I haven't seen Ninja III Domination yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to find that tape.

but it's not the most common tape either... I think I saw it on Marktplaats recently hidden away in a bigger collection of uninteresting tapes. I didn't go for it but also did not made a note of the auction, so of course I can't find it anymore now...
