Ha! I just feel like Shaft after his big score. More than 30 trashy tapes were delivered at my door this evening. Like CK I had a rough day at work, so I'm gonna watch a movie instead of taking and uploading pictures of them. However, THIS oddity I had to share with you. I just bought it cause the title sounded promising, and I'm glad to say my little gamble paid off...

Ok, so that's kind of strange. Not a movie or a label I ever heard of. But check out the inside!

Posted Image

What a nice surprise! Yeah, I know the tape says The Champ, but it's really Het Ondier. Anyone familiar with this label or movie?

Either way, quite happy with it. Will post more pics soon, but now I'm gonna watch The Dragon Lives Again AKA Undead Bruce Lee vs The Exorcist, James Bond, Dracula, Clint Eastwood and Emanuelle. I'm not making that up either...

The label of that tape is Eagle6, right? At least all my Phoenix tapes have it on it.
They had some sort of franchise I guess. Eagle6 tapes have copyright by Phoenix on 'm and Phoenix tapes has Eagle6 toplables.

Pretty sure kingofB knows more 'bout that!!

Is it a Cardona flick?

Both tapes near mint condition! From a Turkish eBay seller in Deutschland. It took a bit (quite a bit actually) writing back and forth (in German!) to convince him that I REALLY was genuinely interested even though I don't live in Germany and yes I WOULD be able to pay him thru banktransfer. In the end it worked out perfectly well and he was very nice but, man, I'm sure glad most eBay dealings go thru without so many hassles. :wacko: :wacko:

@ The Ericist ;
Are you watching that Dragon Lives Again on videotape?
What release is it? I've only ever seen a 3rd gen V bad VHS or VCD copy!?
Was it released on tape anywhere at all?! :blink:

Just found out what movie it is, and I must say that's the third pleasant surprise this movie delivers. It is orginally called Panna a Netvor, which scores a promising 7.7 on IMDB. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078054/). Not as trashy as the coverart suggests then.... Cool :)

C.K.: Was Eagle 6 stationed in Heerlen? In the left corner I see a small logo which kind of resembles that of Eagle 6, but the mothercompany is named Video4000.

Headless: Yep, it's the official Dutch videorelease by a label called Film and Video and Cable Sales. I've seen a lot of wacky movies in my lifetime, but this one was amazing! When you see The Godfather and The Exorcist team up against Bruce Lee, you can't help but feeling you're watching the greatest movie ever made :D This one came in with two other Bruceploitation-flicks, will post some pics soon.
