That's a great film! Congratulations...

Thanks! I enjoy viking-peplums, Gemma and Gordon Mitchell so this one should be right up my alley!

I remember sending you some issues of Obskuriøst but did you get the ones with Viking films in them? I don't remember which issue it was but something of interest for you as a fan of obscure old Euro flicks might also be:

#3: incisive article on Kirk Morris (in English)
#4: MY QUEST FOR THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND OF CAPTAIN NEMO (English)

DL from here (legit and for free):

Jack: Nope, that issue wasn't among the ones you sent me. Thanks thanks for the tip though, I will definitively check it out later (I adore MYSTERIOUS ISLAND OF CAPTAIN NEMO and find Kirk "stiff as a cardboard" Morris and his Z-grade brand of pepla fasciating...),

MYSTERIOUS ISLAND OF CAPTAIN NEMO became an obsession to Henrik Larsen (Obskuriøst editor). Five years ago and for months on end me and my friend Heine Sørensen had to listen to all his stories of how he tried to track down all these versions in his search for the full uncut TV series print.
Well, I guess being an obsessive collector is nothing but familiar ground to most of us here. :hi:

You're welcome. It's actually Jim Wynorski's LOST EMPIRE. It's one of my favourite psychotronic films. Obviously I don't know if you're gonna like it but I must have watched it 15 times or so. Wrote a long review of it for my zine once too. :D
The Danish tape is not something you find every day, I'd say it's fairly rare. But some 5-6 years ago me and a friend stumbled over what we believe was the last remaining stock from Polygram (Denmark)'s old storeroom. I must have found about 10 copies of that tape there. The funny thing is I've never found it anywhere else. Not before and not after.
