I've been on the hunt for ANGEL 3 on Japanese VHS for quite a while, ever since one seller in Japan listed it as being letterboxed and with English dub. I went so far as to bug two sellers repeatedly to find it for me and finally I got it. Only to discover the first seller had written faulty info; the tape is sadly ugly fullscreen. :(
Oh well, at least I've got a complete set of ANGEL tapes now and I only paid $20, not $76 which was the selling price the first time.

Lbx? Heey, that sounds awesome!! I watched Bruno Mattei's BORN TO FIGHT recently and loved it immensely. And I must admit I could kick myself in the head! You see back in the early 90s there was a Danish film mag that wrote a lot about Italian cinema but they all kissed Argento's ass and never wasted a chance to write crap about how awful a director Bruno Mattei was. And, unfortunately, I bought their crap. :( And so it wasn't till a couple of years back that I discovered that a lot of his films are totally entertaining! Obviously, he is a very different director than the semi god Argento but does that make him less entertaining? Hell no!!

The cover for BORN if you haven't seen it:

Ahh sweet, il check that write up tomorrow !

Born to fight is excellent, one of his best imo, just pure entertainment. Cop Game is not as good imo but its a sweet ride.
I collected Matteis work on jap vhs, more or less complete..missing some rare mofos  but hey..last couple of months i prioritized travelling over tapes... i know....Blasphemy

It's not really a write-up (yet) but just the cover and some comments. You've collected them complete on Jap. vhs? Gee! If you get the time it'd be cool if you would post a list of which titles are out on vhs in Japan. :hello!:

You... go... travelling... instead of... buying... tapes... :o :o :o

You heathen! You pagan! You... you... swine!!!

I'll make some better pics, so you can perhaps use them for your blog.

My collection of Philippino crap is growing, but you on the other hand could start a museum :)
