Yeah, you can say that again. NIGHT CALLER is a cool Hong Kong giallo (!!). Eastern Heroes put out the film in both their UK and Dutch lines. However, the UK cover has cool cast info on the reverse but all this had mysteriously disappeared on the Dutch tape. I guss EH felt all this cool info was wasted on the Dutch. A slightly arrogant attitude if you ask me seeing as how they regarded the Dutch market as pretty cool when it came to being able to release uncut films they couldn't put out on home soil.

I still have some old Eastern Heroes and MIHK tapes boxed up here if you are wanting them? The MIHK tapes are mint as the day bought and the Eastern Heroes ones were bought second-hand but are in great shape. Trying to think what titles i still have though... PRISON ON FIRE (on 'MIHK' label) (small-box sell-thru release) A CHINESE GHOSTY STORY (on 'MIHK' label) (small-box sell-thru release) CITY ON FIRE (on 'MIHK' label) (big-box rental release) KUNG-FU ZOMBIE (on 'Eastern Heroes' label) (has a faint videoshop address/logo stamped on sleeve) (small-box sell-thru release) LETHAL PANTHER 2 (on 'Eastern Heroes' label) (timecoded screener) (small-box sell-thru release) ENCOUNTERS OF THE SPOOKY KIND 2 (on 'Eastern Heroes' label) (timecoded screener) (small-box sell-thru release) I believe i may have one other Eastern Heroes release and maybe one or two at the most other MIHK sell-thru releases also. I also have a dozen or two Redemption video releases in mint condition, some Salvation releases and some Exploited (David Gregory and Carl Daft's old label) and Screen Edge releases... |

Hey Wayne. That sounds great and yes please! Thanks a bunch! I don't have PRISON, KUNG FU, and CITY and I'll just check the quality of my CHINESE GHOST. I don't suppose one of the ones you can't remember would happen to be their Dutch version ESCAPE FROM BROTHEL?
This is a rare movie and a damn shame it's not on English friendly DVD!! I have this release from EH (with subs but also awful FS), the US VHS, and a copy of the nice French DVD with added fan subs.
