I know. it's not that I'm proud to own this tape but just to make clear that subs don't say anything about the country where the tape was printed/ distributed. |

Maybe not in the UK. But in London the percentage lies much higher. So the ability to rent it to people from the Arabian states who can't speak or understand English moved the printer/distributor to also release it with Arabian subs. It's all about money. |

Great that itīs subtitled as well. The obvious reason is of course that the label figure that this was a film that was mainly of interest for the arabs in England! |

i can understand what you are saying but it wasnt, also released with subs. the ONLY uk release of this was with arabic subs! strange then that the only uk release out of all original ex rental tapes from the uk was released with arabic subs. i guess it could have something to do with the title, but then TENEBRAE wasnt released with italian subs in the uk, and there are a lot of italians in london also

fellas , if u think about it it's pretty simple, VTI aquired the rights to distribute this title , and the only surviving source material made available to them ,already had the arabic subs from a theatrical print or master tape, and the same circumstance occured with the press material/artwork ect....and due to VTI bein a low budget company they didn't bother printing thier own artwork probably to save money and just stamp printed the UK distributor address on the front cover template to show thier aquired rights......... |

Tim, is it a pre-cert? Is it uncut? I suppose they took their print from an Arabic country and probably the label boss was an Arab. Have you seen anymore titles by VTI label? A great find! Wonderful cover and absolutely rare! It would be a nice gift for my birthday (it's at 1st of August)

Well, my post was over videohunter's. I suppose he's right. But I could never imagine Arabic countries could release material like Ilsa! Maybe because the film has involved with Sheiks
