I have to tell you a story. A guy called me up some months ago, and told med
had lots of old tapes, sleeves and catalogs.
Finally yesterdag I got the chance to visit him.
He had been working with distribution and had a videshop here in Norway since
1979. So he was quite early on. And he had quite a few tapes.
He had somewhere between 500-1000 tapes. The tapes he had was almost unused
beacuse he always kept one film for himself, that never got rented out.
So he had at least 50 Hem Video "Rainbow tapes", at least 20 Mariann Video, many
VTC tapes, and nearly all Video Invest. All of them with pristine cover, tape and boxes. There were also som precerts from Vipco (Diller Killer,Rise of Idi Amin),
some Cineholywwods.
And he had lots of catalogs. There were Intervison, Cinehollywood, Inter-Ocean
and Swedish catalogs for Hem Video, VTC,Video Invest. And lots and lots of covers.
He know it's worth something, so I have to make a good offer. But I don't know
how much to offer him. This collection must be worth a small fortune.

:o

I'd price it as worth about 30,000 Euros and my offer would be 15,000.

If you bid on it and get it, please let me know if you're willing to let some of the Italian Crime go. ;)

You got those EVC's George?

Already got them all apart from one, it's a crying shame that most of the covers have been cut down by some scumbag though :(
