You should avoid the dvd if you're only in this as a vhs collector, or if you only want everything uncut despite your losing out on cool extras. In my view, to avoid an easy-to-get good release is maybe a little harsh not least considering the rareness of the vhs. I remember Bill mentioned on the Midnight Video site what was missing and I seem to remember there's nothing cut out but some nude scenes are "covered" scenes (but don't take my fading memory as proof, find out yourself). I haven't seen the film for a couple of years but it's nothing that'll make you not able to enjoy the film. And the disk provides extra material you don't get on the tape, an interview with the director H. Tjut Djalil + an essay by Tombs on Indo films. Get the vhs by all means but if you're a fan of Indo films I recommend you get both. |

I heard the DVD has a tamed down master with optical censorship, the japanese VHS has the tits in all their glory, while on the dvd there was used an optical effect, so there is no nudity. There also might be missing some snippets of gore, not sure! great movie

From memory I only think there were snippets of gore missing from LADY TERMINATOR, not this one. It was the nudity issue that was censored. |

suppliments , smuppliments !! who cares about the extras , the DVD contains a censored version of the film period !!! , if u want to see the film the way it was meant to be seen the japan vhs is the way to go period !!! .. u can have a billion extras on a DVD if the main feature is cut or censored it's fit for the trash !!!
