Bootleg or not, it still is pretty rare.
Don't have any reference to determine if it's legit or not, so difficult...

search for the man (Mr Desert) himself and ask him ;)
"A plumber? on a sunday?"
"No, It's the Cinehound Mob-Squad, knocking at ya door"

I once had that Lucker tape (maybe I still have it?) and I always thought/think it's a bootleg.

Seen it come by once on MP as well, but skipped it because I too took it for a bootleg or selltape... Would LOVE to get hold of the Flanders VDS!!!

Some good gore!
Very nice tape of Lucker. Release date is 1985, while the official release date of the movie is 1986. Company name is Desert Productions, which is the director's own company, if my info is correct (hence DESERT being subtle reference to his last name being Vandewoestijne).
Don't know in which numbers this version is distributed, but it's pretty hard to find. The name of the director is handwritten on the topsleeve.
Maybe our sweet southern neigbours from Belgium can shed some more light on this tape???

I saw them too on mp but I was already too late. Good to know someone on here has won them, congrats!

I don't think this one's a bootleg. I know Mr Desert had a lot of troubles finding a company to release Lucker, and I remember something about him destributing Lucker hiselves. Does it have french dubbing?

I think this one is a gold one mate! Hyperrare.

Congrats on the rest of the tapes, I already have some of em,I was gonna aim for lucker and that burning moon. BM was banned in germany (the gore in the last half hour is great, non stop!), don't know if it's still banned these days.

That tape of Lucker is as light as a feather if I remember correctly but who knows if it is a legit tape.
You could ask it through here maybe: http://www.jamesdesert.com/main.html

Question has been sent to The Man.
The fact that the tape it light as a feather doesn't matter in this case. If it's a small personal label that was brought to live by the director himself, the quality of the tape shouldn't be the reason to qualify the tape as legit or not, IMO.

I also own that version of Lucker many years ago. Got it from a friend I knew in Antwerpen, Belgium. I just can't remember how the tape and stickers looked like!

I also have this tape of Lucker.
The tape is lightweight, but mine has a white toplabel with a autograph from the
director. I have had mine since the early 90's. Got it from a Norwegian collector
selling out.
I think he maybe bought it from the director.
