Correct, the ONLY complete release worldwide...
I compared it to the US, Argentinean, Dutch, japanese and Swiss release and this one is longer than all of them...

And I believe this tape is the only known copy...

jeezuz Mike, nazi love camp UNCUT, so the usa Video City Productions release is in fact cut....insane brotha! I have always said, I learn something new everyday on this forum, amazing tapes Mike.

The back of the "Too beautiful to die" sleeve states: Only for sale in Portugal, Guinea, Macau, Cape Verde, Timor, Sao Tome and principe

Quite interesting, this was legally available in all of Portugals Ex-colonies and territories exept Angola and Mozambique...

some nice tapes there, nuno!
Thanks for sharing the pictures :tapelove:

I wanted to tell you over at pre-cert when I first saw the DDP-wanted thread, that it's nice to see a familiar name turning to tapes at the same time as me, or have you secretly been collecting for years?

Jungle Killers: The Jaguar Project: Is that the Tomas Tang cut & paste edit from Hong Kong (titled Jungle Killers: The Jaguar Project) or is it the uncut print (titled Mercenary)?? If it's the uncut non-Tomas Tang edit then that would be a motherfucken scoop! On the other hand, if it's the Tomas Tang edit then... ahhh forgetaboutit.

The uncut print only exists on a now very rare US VHS.

GET VICTOR CORPUS is a very rare film too.

Well, no since you're the only one who has this Portuguese tape I have no way of knowing which version it is. However, the uncut US tape runs 103 minutes so I would assume your tape is the shorter Tomas Tang Hong Kong version.

The difference is that HK producer Tomas Tang cut out a lot of the gore and filmed new scenes with some white guys and spliced them into the film. The cover on the Portuguese tape is identical to the German DVD which also carries this cut & paste version. I'll still recommend that you watch the film as it's enjoyable in any version but the uncut/un-edited print is of course the (much) better version. But still a very cool vhs find I'd say. B)
