Well, well. Check out the link below (the bottom one). It seems confirmed that the upcoming special edition WILL include the long-lost censored gore footage and from what I've heard (and seen in stills) it is NASTY! Man, I'm pumped. It streets on January 13th! Kudos to Lionsgate for listening to the fans! Check out the official ad below too!

**Here's a link to the GREAT UK slasher site called Hysteria! Where Justin (the webmaster) has outlined all the cuts and even has some rare stills of the cuts!

Huh? That's the first I've heard the flier is a lie. I heard at the last minute Lionsgate decided to put the footage back into the film!

Where did you hear this belowaverage?

the rue mrgue message board, but knowing those fools, it could very well be a rumour! Also this was a few weeks back too (I dont go there to often, bunch of asshats they are!!), so I could be wrong.

I guess we will see when the time comes!

How much longer is this compared to the previous r-rated releases?

There's just under 3 minutes of additional footage as the 'R' version is also included on the disc for a running time comparison.Everybody got theirs yet as a lot of people I know on other various forums have yet to receive them ?.At least the 25 year + wait was worth it.Shame the censored Friday 13th Pt 2 footage has still never been found though. :(

The S.E. dvd is great with the uncut film on it. Its a must have dvd.
I seen the 3-d remake and its got lots of gore in this one, I like it. The older film got my vote more then the remake.
