Yes, a f@cking policeman shot a 15 years old boy yesterday night and then all Greek cities are on fire! Riots are still on! I guess one flame was enough to start the big "fire" here, prices go up & up every day and more & more people loose their jobs...And we have big strikes this week, a week hotter than hell is coming... |

I can only speak for myself (of course) but I for one would be very, very dissapointed if Bill was to reprint any of the DVD's after they sold out. If something is limited to 1000 copies that to me means 1000, not 1500, not 2000 and definitely not 5000. I think these releases are for the true fans and collectors, the one's that make sure they pick them up long before they go out of print. As for everyone else, tough luck, they can try to swap them later or hunt on ebay for them. To me, the whole point of a limited release is to make it feel more exclusive, and I really like that, I enjoy the feeling and the knowledge that the release I hold in my hand is something that not everybody can own. So if he starts reprinting all the releases I'd say he's letting down all the collectors who spent their hard earned cash to make sure they got one of these babies in time. |

Hmm, I just thought the idea was to spread out these films to as many people as possible. Not to keep them a well hidden secret among a handful of fanatical fans. To me the whole point of rescuing films that are lost is not to make them lost again but to make them available. |

I say your both right. It's nice to have something limited that's never going to come out the same way again. I think if something is successful it should be re-released but the packaging should be diffferent (and i don't just mean non-numbered either) so those who have an original release still have something to cherish. |

I can't understand why you cannot buy straight from his site... Ebay is not a good place for sales. In fact when you sell on ebay a part of the money go to ebay for fees. That's the reason he cannot do these sales there. The best way to support Onar Films is to buy from his site... |

Yep, I agree with you. But then don't make your release limited. It's a matter of honesty. When you say limited then is limited. If you say limited and then reprint the DVD you say lies to people who buy it. Limited means collectible, right? Think about it, Bill sells the new releases a bit more expensive...just because they're limited to 500 pcs. If later re-release them then the people who bought the first release will feel a bit cheated, right? |
