Aaahh! What a great thread... brings a tear to my eye, when I think all those visits to the local videoshop, where we used to rent tapes. And if there was this certaint NINJA word somewhere on the cover, changes are, me and my friends rented it! And always we were expecting bloody ninja action and tits, but usually the films didn't quite deliver... we always had fun though!

Now, this Clash of the Ninjas cover is killing me.

First, the actors: Bernie Junker sound like a pimp with a drub problem, Paul Torcha sounds like a pyromaniac and Klaus Mutter is a gigantic bearded bodybuilder... he has to be, because that is so cool name B)

Then I noticed that Spielberg did the screenplay. Cool! Sorry, what? Not that Spielberg? Oh... well...

And WTF? Art director is Tong Kong... I can't take it

And as icing on the cake, in the sleeve itself we have Sly Stallone on the background doing his classic Cobra-pose...

Great breakdown of that cover, BlueDemon! I hadn't noticed how absurd the credits on the box are. I need to check out Kurt Spielberg on IMDb and see what other cinematic masterpieces he's scripted :D

Excellent tapes Canisius and Petcor! I can never get enough of this stuff
