FINALLY got this bad boy, and only for $8! And it's a mint, un-faded sleeve!

That looks awesome, Stephen! :D

But what movie is this? I have a couple of HK VCDs from a series called HONG KONG CRIMINAL FILE but I don't suppose it's linked to those?

Jack - It's the 1982 German dark horror thriller DER FAN, aka TRANCE. If you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for? An amazing flick with experimental/avant-garde touches that don't come off as pretentious. And it truly shocked me like few flicks have. And it's WAY better than the somewhat similar (in feel and theme) AUDITION.

Thanks, Stephen. I didn't realise it's DER FAN. I've actually been meaning to get it a couple of times (I'm sure I placed bids on a German tape or DVD a couple of years back). I didn't realise (either) that it's as amazing as you say. Gee, I'll check out which versions are out there.

Ah, supposed you have it, see the scan on your blog  :ph43r:

I have it as Jack will tell you. Stumbled upon it ( on ebay) not knowing what it was until I put it in the VCR. The rest was history!

Okay.
I have not so rare japanese vhs as tim versey and videohunter and also not so many as michael or ed209vscain (around 40 ). But i'm sure that some of my tapes not shown on this thread.
Some others were perhaps already shown, but as i have neither the time nor the desire to compare what sleeves have already posted.
So I just published all of my scans.
Let's start.

Kung Fu Wonderchild 1986
