You muppet! The cover clearly says THE SPIRAL. :P

I have this VCD and it's a film based on the same books as the RINGU films but (I think) it was made by another company. It's really "Ring 2". The Japanese title is RASEN. The VCD doesn't have English subs, unfortunately.

Ok, thanks. A few akas from the imdb so we don't get confused:

Helix Japan (literal English title)
Ring 4: The Spiral Philippines (English title)
Ring: The Spiral Australia (cable TV title)
Spiral Japan (literal English title)

Heeey my brave friends! Do I have a tip for you!!

A seller in the US has put up 20 or something Ocean Shores tapes for auction! And from the scans they look like they're in really good condition. The starting prices are very low.

Now, I'm not really that much into traditional, oldskool kung fu films so I might as well give y'all the tip. There's a couple I'd like but most of them I'd only buy for the beautiful covers and quite frankly I don't have room for that. :(

This link is only to his Ocean Shoes tapes but do check out his store, he's also got quite a few other kung fu flicks (plus a handful of Godfrey Ho movies):

Oh, and he has a rare US release of WOLF DEVIL WOMAN:

Last night I won this great looking release of the Filipino movie DEATHHEAD VIRGIN from one of his auctions and the final bid was $15. :D

Yeah well, sometimes you're caught between a rock and a hard place. I just won GREEN KILLER from him and altho it's a lesser version since it's dubbed in English it is however the longest print there is as the subtitled vhs is cut (and it's never been released on dvd). Personally I'd rather have a dubbed print which is uncut than a cut print with subs. Unfortunately it seems none of the two versions are in the right picture format.

Info on the two versions on the Simon Yam page:
