I have some Ocean Shores LDs too, DAUGHTER OF DARKNESS and THE RAPE AFTER among them, but it's difficult to scan them... I remember some years ago before the internet explosion, I sent them a letter by post and almost a month later I received a huge catalogue with their products (VHS & LD) so I may have their numbers somewhere in my old house! They also sent me a letter, something like "Mr. Kordas, you could send us $150 in cash and choose any 10 titles you want" so I placed a few orders back then this way! Imagine by pleasure when I opened those parcels with 10 LDs inside, it was a paradise on earth for me! Some movies they were totally unknown to me back then, also I was one of the very few Greeks with a LD player! Surprisely Greek customs never charged taxes for them

I also have old list from Ocean Shores somewhere. I wrote to them before I had LD-player in the early 90’s, so I got list and b/w cover photocopys of the tapes. I actually had only few Ocean Shores releases before I bought some kung-fu LD’s from Mr. Cinehound recently So here’s my Ocean Shores list: VHS-tapes: BURY ME HIGH (OS-644) SPLIT OF THE SPIRIT (OS-375) LD's: SEEDING OF A GHOST (OL-190) DEVIL FETUS (ol-32) ROSE (OL-261) PAINTED FACES (OL-65) ROCK N’ ROLL COP (OL-395) BEUCE LEE IN THE GUINEA (OL-376) EAGLE'S CLAW (OL-363) JADE DAGGER NINJA (OL-454) THE FAST FISTS (OL-354) THE WANDERING MONK (OL-453) THE 72 DESPERATE REBELS (OL-300) MOONLIGHT SWORD AND JADE LION (OL-318) THE DEMONS (OL-303) THE SHAOLIN INVINCIBLES (OL-316) HEROES OF SHAOLIN (OL-302) THE YOUNG HERO OF SHAOLIN (OL-152) THE YOUNG HERO OF SHAOLIN II (OL-23) WAR OF THE SHAOLIN TEMPLE (OL-259) THE REBELLIOUS REIGN (OL-260) BRUCE TUAN 7-PROMISE (OL-315) GENERAL INVINCIBLE (OL347) A BROTHERHOOD OF HERO (OL-312) The two tapes and maybe even some LD's are for swap if I can get something nice in trade... |

Wauw, amazing!! 10 laserdiscs for 150 dollars. Yeah, those were the days! Maybe we should go the whole 9 yards and make complete lists for DVD's and LD's as well!!! @Dodo: Thanks for your titles. I'll add them to the lists.

I just had a look (again) at your store and now I suddenly remember why I've never ordered anything from you: You only accept Money Orders from non US residents! I remember you had one VCD I wanted (and you still do) but it's just too much of a hassle for one cheap VCD I'm afraid. I can kinda understand why you wouldn't want ordinary credit card payment but why not PayPal? As far as I know that's secure to both the buyer and seller. :ph43r:

The prices on their catalogue were much higher but they did a very good price to me...maybe they thought a Greek couldn't spend much money? Well, that was very correct for that period...   But I beleive it was because they wanted to get rid of their LDs because of the DVD coming... |

You can check almost all HK films on HKMDb.com, and this includes SPLIT OF THE SPIRIT. You can also see the OS cover.
