I created an account in amazon.com

They supposed to sell internationally. I tried several times to buy several VHS from sellers who ship internationally but when goes to Checkout I always get the message: "We're sorry but this item cannot be shipped to your destination"

Now, I miss something?

Any help will be precious

PS< I did communicated with some sellers and all said they ship woldwide!

Some market-place sellers sell to other countries and some don't. Unfortunately Caiman has recently decided only to sell to the UK which sucks major ass as they're my favorite seller. Cheap prices and fast reliable delivery.

Often sellers who sell stuff very cheap don't bother with other countries. You can always write to them and ask if they will accept PayPal payment outside of Amazon. Some of them are nice enough and say yes, others are cunts who don't even bother give you an answer.

I see you say you've signed up for Amazon.com. Miltos, that's Amazon in the US. If you want cheap postage you ought to use Amazon in the UK: Amazon.co.uk. This doesn't mean you buy from stores in the UK but just that it goes via Amazon in the UK. The stores in the US are the same, you just save on postage. The very same tape that you buy from a store in the US will cost you $13 from Amazon.com but only £2 from Amazon.co.uk.

Thanx Jack! But they look two completely different stores to me. I search for Ocean Shores and Private Screenings VHS into the US store and they had a lot. I did the same into the UK store and they had nothing! How could I buy from the UK store then?

Well, you can't.

Rare (NTSC) tapes are rare tapes and they only turn up on Am. US. I was more talking about ordinary stuff like DVDs, books, etc.

If you sign up for one Amazon, you sign up for them all. Just try your inlog and pasword on the other Amazon stores. I think I've bought from all of them over the years but mostly, like Jack said, throug Amazon.co.uk using the asociated sellers. Caiman used to be my favorite too, now I often go for Moviemarz. They have an eBay store too where the shipping is even less ;)

Thanx guys...But I gave up as I start to beleive Amazon.com don't ship to Greece even if they mention they do. I cannot give any further explaination. Maybe it is a temporarily problem on site? But I think a few months ago I tried again without success.

if the seller has "international shipping" clearly stated in their description then it is indeed strange!
But again check that they really state that, because the error you're getting is the error you get when the seller hasn't got the International shipping box tagged in their settings. I do occasionally get it now when I select Caiman out of force of habit and I forget that they do not ship Internationally anymore...

I have often experienced that market place sellers don't ship internationally altho it says so in their info. You just have to try them out. Btw, I'm interested in knowing how many you've actually tried to buy from, Miltos? You can easily run into a handful that don't ship internationally. Just try different sellers.
