Actually, Calamity of Snakes is not a Hong Kong movie. It is a Korea-Taiwan production and was directed by a Korean director: Kim Seon-gyeong. In Korea it goes under the title of War Between Men and Snakes.![]() here is the VHS cover and the title credit ![]() The movie is all in Korean and there are no subtitles. Also, the opening credits are totally different and there is a small intro where a couple discuss in a room after a girl had a nightmare. After that, they drive to the airport and take a plane to China. This I believe wasnt in any other prints, if anybody can confirm about this from the other copies that would be great. I just checked the running time and this Korean VHS is 1:28 the Japanese VHS runs 1:26. So there is more or less 1:30 to 2 minutes difference in favor of the Korean VHS. *Again, like I said in my other posts, I'm getting rid of all my original DVDs (almost) and VHS so this one is no exception. If anybody is intereested PM me. |
