William Fruet is the fella who directed 1982 this low budget, backwood revenge-thriller,
titled Trapped (aka Baker County USA), starring cult favourite Henry Silva.
You know Fruet allready from flicks like Funeral Home, Bedroom Eyes
and Death Weekend.

Taglines:
When you're cornered like an animal it's kill or be killed!
Death may be the only escape!

Story:
Witnessed by some students, Henry Chatwell (H.Silva) murders his wife's lover.
Now an innocent camping weekend turns into a nightmare.

Studio:
US label Code Red released recently this flick on dvd.
-> first dvd-release of Trapped worldwide.

Artwork:
studio used the standard artwork like many vhs-distributors did in the glory 80's
(VRO, Mayco, Walthers, United Film, Video7, VMP ...)

Video:
ntsc, widescreen, 1.78:1, anamorphic, var bitrate, clean print with bright colors,
some frames (i.e. scenes in the cave) are a little bit dark, few frames with blue flattering.

Will definively be picking this up. Really like Fruet's Death Weekend and I really like the Code Red label - no matter what you think of their films you've got to love a label that specialises in de luxe DVD editions of reeeally obscure US trash/horror flicks with hardly any cult following... in these economical times! A tip of my hat to them!
