I've discovered this online shop in Canada called Robert's Hard to Find Videos and they've certainly got some extremely rare stuff! However, I'm wondering if they are original tapes or bootlegs. For instance they have quite a few of their rare tapes in both PAL and SECAM versions, and there are no cover scans at all. http://www.robertsvideos.com/index.php3 Have any of you used this place before? |

Not used him, and unlikely to. A tad expensive! from the site: Tape Quality: The great majority of tapes are ordered directly from the supplier owning the copyright and come with full color packaging. Some other titles are in the public domain and often come without packaging and in some cases the tape quality may be below average and this is noted in the film listing when known. There is only a refund for tapes that are defective or improperly manufactured - and must be returned to us with 30 days and it will be replaced with an acceptable copy of the same title. Videos cannot be returned because you do not like a film - as that would amount to a free rental.

He had Black Devil Doll from Hell on his site for sale...I called him and asked him about it. He said it was just a dub of the film because it never had an original release....which is false. I would say avoid. |
