I´ve this year got my old interest for early black/white cinema back up after some years of mostly watching euro-trash.
This great looking series has got the collector-nerve in me tingling again, and before i set out and buy them new (they´re not too exspensive though) i figured maybe some of you here might have any of them you want to swap?

I´m looking for all the dvds, except #5 Pitfall & #6 The Face of Another that i allready have, and some like Metropolis, Les Maitre du temps, Shoah, that i have on other dvd editions and only would want as completition in the end...

I´m considering parting with my Yeti/Snowman and Rene Cardona jr collection (many rare tapes from around the world of cool films) and also some other tapes and dvds, if there´s any interest i´ll put up some photos.
I can also buy the dvds, but then it has to be cheap (£5/6 euro each), i have little cash now before summer....

Also looking for some other dvds of French films by directors like René Clair, Jean Cocteau, Abel Gance, Louis Feullade etc. etc....

Here´s the Masters of cinema page, even if you don´t have any of them you can take a look at the great covers, this is what dvd-edition should look like!

I love the MoC label too, much better cover art than Criterion and in general more interesting films too (not so many Hichcock's, Buñuel's, Bergman's etc. that have already been released a zillion times before worldwide). I have maybe 5-6 of them so it feels hopeless to start collecting the series now, but i'm definitively getting all their blu-rays!

I also like to second shootgringoshoot's praise of the Second Run label, wonderful label that specialise in obscure but great eastern european new wave/art house titles.

Yes, another nice label, but mostly for newer stuff is Artificial Eye, unfortunally they have pretty ugly covers...
Lots of great films on the ARTHAUS label, but from what i understand they are only in German, a shame...

I´m currently reading early issues of the classic swedish moviemagazine "Chaplin", (i have most issues from 1959-1979) and it really gets me in the spirit for this kind of films!

Lars, if you want to swap dvds for Cardona Robinson Crusoes i´m all ears....!

Also, the Masters of cinema dvds are not very expensive, on amazon they cost around £ 10 each... so of course i can just buy them there, but moneysupply is lower than tapes over here at the moment so swaps would be nice.

My MoC collection is finally kicking in, after a slow summer... Here´s what i have now (+4 more) and now of course i need to complete the set... (about two thirds missing).
so if you have any and want to swap or sell, just get in touch. i´m clearing out most of my non-spaghetti westerns, some turks and american/us westerns on swedish tapes.
