Hi Jack. It's not the only DVD version of the film , there are actually 3 DVDs of it released. You have the German Astro release, you have this Zombie Doom DVD and you have an HDMV / Cineclub release which also includes Zombie 09 which is just a re-dubbed version of Zombie '90 and it also has the original (dubbed I guess) version of it. I actually have a bootleg of the Astro dvd and this includes the original German audio, on the background sometimes you hear Schnaas giving tips and talking to the crew. Since I just bought this DVD from Miltos, you can have my bootleg free of charge off course when I receive my original copy. You can also order the HDMV / Cineclub release here: http://www.sinart.asso.fr/en/zombie-90-ext...estilence-20828 |

Gee, HBK, it seems I was left in the dark with that film! I honestly didn't know there were other ZOMBIE '90 dvd releases than as bonus on the reg. 1 VIOLENT SHIT 3 (Zombie Doom) dvd. Thanks for your info!! And sure, I'd love your bootleg!! Thanks!! The original audio from the shooting of the film??!! Very cool!! Btw, would you like a little something in return? I could send you RAADDEN KAERLIGHED which is a Danish "homemade" zombie movie (with yours truly as a zombie). Miltos reviewed it here a couple of years back. It's in Danish but, uhh, the dialogue isn't so important. |

Anyone here seen Todd Sheets movies? They are beyond bad... Here's a Danish low budget movie, Flænset (2000). Watched it a few years ago, but I can't remember, much about. I have the Danish tape up for grabs if anyone's interested. A few screencaps. Bloodeaters (1980) is imo a home made movie, it's just so cheap looking. But fun! |

I actually quite like Zombie Bloodbath. The second one was ok, but the b/w artsy scenes are not for me. Bloodeaters sounds good too, that is on DVD under the title of Toxic Zombies I believe. |

Although FLÆNSET was low-budget it wasn't a homemade film as such but a "real" film. And it played in cinemas when it came out. |

 Yeah, you're right. When I lived in OZ I picked up a flyer for a cinema screening and it explained that the British authorities refused it entry to the UK and sent it back to Australia right away. And yes, that's were I got the title for my old zine from (and obviously I did go to see it at the cinema). And I agree, it's totally enjoyable and I can't understand why it didn't become more famous. I have that tape (of course!) but it's also out on a Swedish DVD. |

I have the ZOMBIE BLOODBATH films but have only watched the first one so far. I quite like it (and I'm happy Member-X didn't like them otherwise he might not have sold me the video tapes). However, my favourite homemade gore flick is one that's actually not mentioned here; it's a movie from Argentina called PLAGA ZOMBIE 2!! It's totally awesome in my view!! The first one, PLAGA ZOMBIE, is good fun and on par with the Schnaas films, etc. but the sequel, PLAGA ZOMBIE 2 (aka Plaga Zombie: Zona Mutante). Both films are out on a reg. 1 dvd and I'll recommend everybody to buy it! |
