However, my favourite homemade gore flick is one that's actually not mentioned here; it's a movie from Argentina called PLAGA ZOMBIE 2!! It's totally awesome in my view!! The first one, PLAGA ZOMBIE, is good fun and on par with the Schnaas films, etc. but the sequel, PLAGA ZOMBIE 2 (aka Plaga Zombie: Zona Mutante). Both films are out on a reg. 1 dvd and I'll recommend everybody to buy it!

Heared about these films but never actually bothered buying them, thanks for the tip there now on my never ending wantlist. ;)

Argh yes, that dammed want-list!

Some more underground gore flicks; Hugh Gallagher's Gore trilogy: GORGASM (1990), GOROTICA (1993), and GORE WHORE (1994). Only on VHS.

How about French underground gore ?

Ogroff The Mad Mutilator (1983) N.G. Mount: My personal favourite of the ones I have seen so far. Great film shot on 8MM with almost no dialogue only a soundtrack that keeps repeating itself. It's about a killer in the woods who kills a lot of people that are just passing through. Great cheesy gore effects, loved it! And I think i've never seen a film that shows that much of a resemblence with Violent Shit. (Check my avatar for the killer.)

Sexandroide (1987) Little French gore flick which goes more for the extreme. Self mutilation, burnings, torture that's only in the first of the three stories. The second one has to be seen: a girl gets hypnotised after this she starts playing with fire and does acts of self mutilation white knifes, needles and razor blades. Then a weird looking monster walks in who mutilates her even more after which she falls in love with his charming appearence and they walk away in love. Third story is about a vampire in a coffin who bites a girl. This leads to her doing a sexy 80s disco dance.

Devil Story sounds great too, haven't seen this one yet.

They aren't on DVD but they are on VHS. Mostly they go for very high prices, at least Ogroff does because they are pretty rare. Seen it go for well over $ 300! All three of them are available on proffesional bootlegs though through cinema-de-bizarre.

Very cool tapes Jack, but wow 999$ that's a little bit high for me, haha. I have the trilogy on DVD.
