It always feels good to find something for cheap, but sometimes you might miss some nice deals. So if you have any hints for possible sales in stores (Amazon, Barnes&Noble, Play.com...) then post your information here.

Thought I'd start this thread that some selected Criterions are more than 50% off at Amazon at the moment. For example Amarcord, Basil Dearden's London Underground and Silent Naruse.

Another nice find I came across is BFI's Mikio Naruse Collection for 9.45E (including free shipping) at Zavvi.

Good call, LA! We needed one of these.

And just to clarify this, this thread is for tips about bargains that we find in stores on the web. It's not to sell our own stuff so please keep that out of this thread.

Also, I moved the thread to the section for shops and other sites (other than eBay).

Here's a VERY cheap DVD set I ordered the other day and which I'm quite exited about. It's a brand new 12 film collection of ANDY SIDARIS films! The set is out from Mill Creek so the question about picture quality is up in the air... HOWEVER, the set is also sold from the official Andy Sidaris website (run by his wife) so I would assume the quality is alright.

I ordered it from Amazon.com which I normally never do cos Amazon.co.uk is cheaper in Europe but in this case the US branch was the cheaper choice (it was $18 from a seller on Amazon UK). The 3 disc box is around $6 and shipping to Euroland also came to $6. 12 bucks for 12 Andy Sidaris films!

Unfortunately, neither STACEY nor SEVEN is out on DVD yet. :(

I just bought FIREFIST OF INCREDIBLE DRAGON and the bargain was so low that had it been any cheaper it would have been for free!
