My Norwegian was decent until my midteens in the US, at which point I lost a lot of it. I think the only way to get back to the language is through good films! Looking for any Norwegian subtitled DVD-R rips, preferably horror or kung fu but happy with Eurocrime etc... Let me know if you can help with this odd but very genuine request! I understand some Polly Kuan films made it to Norway or Denmark on VHS. Will pay good money or trade pretty much anything for them. |

Hello there. Since I'm Norwegian and have 1000's of Norwegian tapes I can help you. Just get in touch with me through PM, and we can agree on something. |

Are you originally from Norway, Odioustrident? It would be a good idea to not only watch films subbed in Norwegian but also to watch Norwegian spoken ones. There are quite a few good new Norwegian horror movies out there. |

I wasn't born in Norway but it was my first language until I started going to grade school. I've seen most of the Norwegian language titles but I am missing out on a few. For some reason it helps me to connect the often simple language of dubs to subtitles. Do other people here feel their English has improved by watching films? |
