not every flea market here in holland is free, so i kinda stopped going to them since i never find anything of interest.
Definately never seen super 8 or laserdiscs and cant recall video cds either. I think most people still sell that through the likes of marktplaats or ebay.

I would say your time at flea markets has been pretty rewarding and makes me think twice about it. Maybe i should go visit them again :)

In Belgium the indoor ones are not free but the outdoor ones during the summer are. So far I've found much more stuff at outdoor ones. They are usually much bigger so the chance to find something is much larger. And you can visit several markets in 1 day without spending a small fortune on entry fees. I must say I have been particularly lucky in the last month. I doubt this luck will continue :)

Today's catch

Posted Image

Unfortunately it was raining today and "rain + stupid people + VHS = very bad combination" so the 4 VHS in the top row of the picture have serious water damage on the covers (you can see only a bit of it on the picture). I'm afraid to take the covers out to have them dry because they'll probably tear apart. What's the best way to deal with it? Just dont touch them?

Also funny, the tape of "Wild and beautiful on Ibiza " is still factory sealed in plastic .

too bad it was raining. i would just let the covers dry in other words take them out of the box and let them dry.. then maybe place a load of books or tapes or whatevers heavy enough on them to take out the wrinkels.

Today's fleamarket catch

Except Black Stallion and the Tiroler sex comedies all from the same guy who, for some strange reason, also had a bunch of Italian VHS. He said he had more stuff though. I'll email him and hopefully he'll send me some pictures (but he was a peculiar fellow and he was saying kind of weird things about his internet connection so I dunno if that will work :))

Again water damage but only on Deense Snoepjes (unfortunately since it's one of the best tiroler sex comedy in my opinion)

I dried the previous covers, even though I put some heavy books on them, the wrinkles didn't come completely out. Also the stains are still somewhat visible, depending on the cover colour

Would be nice but he probably doesn't. Every movie I saw today was either a comedy or an action film. But let's hope he has some more cool stuff

Also, I was cleaning some boxes which were dirty and I noticed there is white fungus inside some tapes ! Anything you can do about that?

Also, the box of "La Leggenda del Rubino Malese" contains a wrong tape, it's some home made Rai uno recording. Of course it's the tape I was most interested in to compare against the crappy german DVD :(

Also some of the covers have had water damage in the past, but have since dried again. It only became obvious when I was cleaning the boxes.

Anyone know what "Caleçontheek" is supposed to be on the first picture? The cover is full of nonsense (it's talking about underwear) and mentions producer: Paolo Merchalli, Director: Jeanes Descampovitch, Art Director: Guy Descampski. The tape itself has no label and there's an American porno movie on it. Did the tape get switched maybe? If not , why the ridiculous cover?

Wauw...Nice bunch of tapes!
I've never seen that Equalizer 2000 tape before.
Maybe you could put a scan up in the Post-apocalyptic thread?

I'll see what I can do but the problem is the cover is for some strange reason taped to the box (you can see the line at the top where the tape is). Also the world "SAMPLE" is printed a few times on the back cover

You can see the cover on OFDB though
