Ah...it's a British tape...I was blinded by the graphics, so I overlooked the 18 certification. Anyway, thanks for the link.

I'm especially interested in Dutch tapes, since I'm working on an online Dutch VHS 'database'. It's smalltime though (compared to the hardcore collectors in this forum), because it houses only my own humble collection. But we (I have a parner in crime) make up for it with enthusiasm :)

Anyway...keep posting those nice tapes you dig up from the depts of Belgium...

I can't stop laughing due to that Beverly Hills Cocks tape you've found

Didn't find much this weekend. At least some italian stuff including the first (non-Leone) spaghetti western I've seen at a flea market . Unfortenately it's Ciakmull of which I already have a 3 different DVD versions and it doesn't even have a cool cover. Also someone taped something over the first few seconds of the begin credits

I have no idea what the hell that Sabi Video is in the top left corner. The back cover has french text and claims the title is "Sayedna Yahya Partie 1" but the video itself is in some arabic language. It doesn't look like a real movie either, more like a recorded theater play.

And for the 3rd time I bought a VHS player which doesn't properly work. I've tried Philips, Samsung and now Magnum. What's a good brand?

I have a bunch of JVC players...one is great, the rest is ok.

Here is a topic about VCR's:

What's the best vcr ever made?

Anyway...I found some great titles this week on VHS:

Het Toverstokje (Video Screen)
Cannibal Man (Video Star)
Cynthia's Sister (VML)
The Daring Dobermans (EVC)
Black Champoo (Video Media)
Hell Night (Media)

I also saw a JVC player, should have bought that one :( The Magnum has trouble rewinding tapes. It just doesn't start or stops after few seconds. Rewinding works during playback, but then it's so slow

What movie is Toverstokje? And where did you find them? Also fleamarket?

Het Toverstokje is a weird fairytale performed by animals and with a prehistoric Dutch Voice-over
With 21 votes on imdb it seems pretty rare...

Two tapes I've got from a friend...and the rest at a second-hand store.

Got to these just before it started raining today. However, when I came home I noticed most of them have gotten wet in the past already . Covers are stuck to the plastic and will probably be destroyed if separated :(

New finds today

Posted Image

Also saw 2 Panasonic players in a garage sale (NVFJ610 and NV-SD430, they seemed to me a bit higher end then what I normally see). However the 70 something year woman selling it refused to let me plug in the players to test them, claiming she had tested them herself. I had to take them with me immediately even though I was on foot and my car was kilometers away. After I reluctantly agreed to buy them anyway I asked for the remotes. Turned out she forgot them at home as she was doing the sale from her deceased fathers house. Even though she told me before she only lived like a few 100 meters from there, she didn't want to get me the remotes and refused to send them via mail. I just left shaking my head, some people are just insane...

You people already bought everything!

I also hardly find anything in Amsterdam. Best finds are here in Belgium in little towns close to where I live in the middle of nowhere :)

Also funny was the Ninja movie, it was in a box of cartoons being sold by a little girl. I asked her mother if she had more stuff like that but she just seemed to be under the impression it was a kids movie
