How about these?

I wonder what defines this genre. I'm thinking of posting a few sleeves in this thread, but I keep noticing the limits of the storyline.

Post-apocalyptic ACTION (the true sons of Max ;-))

Post-apocalyptic SF ?? (I'm thinking ROBO WARRIORS or ROBOT JOX. One could argue if these are actually "after the bomb" since I doubt there was a bomb.

Post-apocalyptic ADVENTURE ?? (OPERATION OVERKILL - low on action)

You know what I mean right? ATOMIC CYBORG, having the atmosphere of a dark post-nuke actionfilm... but having a storyline set merely in the future; NOT after the bomb.

Makes you think. Is LIFEFORCE an SF flic involving aliens, or a simple vampire-story blown up. Is WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS a biker-movie, or a werewolf tape? B)

I love the belga films battletruck tape!! Only got the cnr version

There’s a great book that combines most of this stuff: world gone wild, a survivors guide to post apocalyptic movies... merely revieuws of the films and somtimes interviews with actors or directors, still a massive book full of info that could feed this thread!
