Also Lokasari Films in Malaysia has ceased activity in 2016.
At this point, there's no more there's no more VCD/DVD company issuing or reissuing old titles both in Indonesia or Malaysia. Lokasari was the last surviving and it closed in 2016. I got the news yesterday and during the last year no further reissue of old title was made, just a bunch of new horrors and comedies before going out of business.

Really? No more labels to reissue old titles in neither Indonesia nor Malaysia??? That's just terrible. I guess downloading really did kill the dvd star. :(

I got a lot of original VCDs from Malaysia several years ago, including all the available Pontianak titles. By precaution (as I don't know if these VCDs will survive through the years) I copied them on DVD-rs. I also made some editing - I mean, sometimes the last scene of side A is repeated at the beginning of side B, so I just erased the duplicated images, don't panic ! In a sense it's more practical to watch the created DVD, even if the video quality remains the same, of course.
