Where can I read the Daily and Sunday strips?
If you join http://www.dailyink.com/ , then for $15 (US) you get an one year subscription and will be able to access dozens of comics, including one year of archived strips. The following are available for Phantom readers.

The Phantom Dailies
The Phantom Sundays
The Phantom Dailies (Vintage)
The Phantom Sundays (Vintage)
Mandrake Dailies (There are no Sundays or any vintage strips available for Mandrake)

What other advantage do I have by subscribing?
Bigger artwork quality. Daily Ink provides the Daily Strips in two sizes.
Size 1: 760x233
Size 2: 900x276
(The width usually remains constant, but the height varies by couple of pixels from strip to strip)

To an idea of the size, here is a comparison shot.

The smallest one is the size offered by the free sites.

Where can I read the Daily and Sunday strips for free?
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/fun/phantom.asp
http://www.chron.com/apps/comics/showComick.mpl?&name=Phantom

Size: 525x161 This is the size provided by both the above free sites.

The above sites gives you access to the Daily and Sunday Strips and up to two months of archive strips. If you want to access strips older than two months, then visit the following link at Aman's website
