(and "Hopkins hämnd" in Swedish) One problem with this story as I see it is that Ryan doesn't know how the creatures look like and has created his own appearance. As he has done with the Jungle Patrol monument and the appearance of the Wasaka.

That series went on a bit too long in the Semic books for my taste, though there were some good stories. If De Paul should use some of his Semic/Egmont material for inspiration, I'd rather see more stories about "Johnny Hotwire" and the youth of the 21st Phantom.

The one from Phantomwiki looks like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. As far as I have understood, there is from where the original inspiration came from. When the three stories were re-run in Fantomen Krönika, there was aa article about that film.
