Bester or Falk, The 21st Phantom's childhood is certainly an interesting one - and one that in my mind has never really been delved into as much as it could. I am sure the struggles of the young Phantom to cope with his situation in the USA could be used in several chronicle type stories delineating an event or two during his teenage years that helped shape his direction towards taking up the role of the GWW. As I have said previously, If another movie is produced of The Phantom, I think a large focus should centre on the childhood of the 21st Phantom - as seen in Falk's novel.(similarly to the new Batman franchise). This will (hopefully) lead to a good base to build a franchise of films that will give the movie going public a character with some depth, personality and appeal! And if carried out properly the GWW may rightly claim his mantle of popularity and adulation alongside those who have tended to hog the spotlight in the comic strip world!
