Discuss!

Issue listing.

Edit: It seems that I'm unable to add a poll. The problem seems to be stemming from the same place as the issues with the BBcode/smilies. Sorry about this, folks.

A great start to this three parter :D I was torn between earns a good mark and very good for this one and I was thinking of not voting until the other stories in the series appeared. However, I ended up just voting very good.

I do fear a little this story has already gone as far as it can, and that the next two parts will be of little accord, but hopefully not.

The story may be somewhat blasphemous towards Phantom heritage. But, personally I do not mind much, as long as it is placed in the right context of "can it be possible that there is a connection between these ancient individuals and the Phantom heritage?". As there is no actual statement saying that there is a 100 per cent connection, and if it is left as an unsolved mystery, then more of this please!! On the other hand should it be written as fact - then put this, and any other story in the series where the sun don't shine!

Ugh, I was torn between 'very good' and 'poor', and ended up voting 'poor'.

It's very good in terms of a story, it's just poor in terms of a Phantom story, because it's not about the Phantom. I stand by my comments in regards to the 'cursader' stories this is related to- isn't there enough history to explore? Isn't the hundreds of years worth of Phantom heritage enough to look around in enough to work with?? Ugh, it really smacks of a writer who knows certain time periods and dammit, I'll write a story based in that period even if it makes no sense!

On another note, I've always found it a bit silly that they keep asking who Mr Walker is. Yeah, it's all about reinforcing the mystique, but if you were picking up letters for someone, and they asked who that person was, it'll sound a little silly. "he's my friend?"
