Alrighty then time for a new topic because I didn't see this in the thread list.

Today I bought some of the 25th Anniversary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys. They are the exact replicas from when I was a kid and obsessed with the turtles.
I picked up Leonardo, Rocksteady and Beebop. Then I put the remaining available toys on laybuy. Michaelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, April O'Neal and Splinter. That's all I could find. I still need to keep an eye out for the rest of them. Shredder, Foot Soldier, Slash and Casey Jones. Christmas is gonna be good this year.

HEROES IN A HALF SHELL. TURTLE POWER!

I saw those while in Sydney for the con and they do indeed look cool. Apparently something similar is going to happen with the Real Ghostbusters toys. That I can't wait for!

Oh I did create a similar thread last year.. though your thread title "Toys and Collectables" is better. Perhaps these two threads could be merged.

And Mick...

Looking forward to those... I had only seen couple of preview photos of these figures several months ago.

I currently have the TMNT figures based on the original Mirage comic artwork. And though I am so used to these guys have their different colors bandannas, these are still great sculpted figures with plenty of articulation... complimenting the comic art.

I hope to collect the figures of the animated series as well.

I really want to get the toys based on their original designs too. I think there are coloured ones and black & white ones but I'm not sure.

Here are pics of the toys I bought today. These pics were taken from the Ninja Turtles site. Here in Australia we don't get the free DVD that is shown on the Leo pic.

Here is one of my recent purchases... sadly this arrived in a broken condition near the wrist and shoulder. And though I paid extra for the shipping insurance, I still haven't been able to claim my money back. Atleast the statue is still in one piece.

No good quality pics at the moment

That looks really nice, Vivek. Pitty about the damage, I hope you can get your money back.

I just ordered this version of Watcmen exclusive to JB Hi-Fi.

I was just going to wait until it was in the shops but then I looked at the run time. This one says 186 minutes. But the regular two disc set says 162. Maybe it was a typo or it hasn't been updated. Anyway I haven't found any info about the directors cut coming to Australia so I wasn't going to risk missing out. Plus I prefer this cover too.

I've been reading that they've only mentioned it in the Blu Ray format. Hope it doesn't exclude DVD's. Although it'd be a great first Blu Ray to have. I also read that it would be for a very limited run. On sale for a month or something like that. I didn't look too much into it so I'm not sure what is happening.

I was hoping my first BluRay disk would be Ghostbusters, but I can't find it anywhere and apparently it is out. As for Watchmen I'm going to wait and see what kinds of sets come out and then pick the best.

Ghostbusters Blu Ray was (or probably still is) available for $9.99 at Amazon. There was some special code to get $5 off the listed $15 price
