Thug Posts: 8 Group: Members Member #617 Joined: July 13, 2009	HI, A COUPLE OF MONTH AGO I BOUGHT IN EBAY A PHANTOM FIGURE, THE AUTHOR IS MAKING A NEW ONE. HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE WORK. WHAT DO YOU THINK. IT IS IMPRESSIVE, DOESN`T??? I WOULD BE 35 CM TALL. EDIT: Added thumbnail of image for easier viewing. Click on thumbnailto see full image. He is yet to decide on the number of statues he is going to do and has to finalize the pricing as well. He is also willing to paint the statue in different colors (purple, red, blue or brown). I am all for creativity and more merchandise for the Phantom. But after visiting statue forums and reading more about licensed properties, I know mass production of statues of such a popular character without license is stepping into troubled water. Lot of sculptors obviously do private commission based on licensed properties, but they are usually done on a one on one basis and are mostly low key transactions. Either way... from the various pics this statue sculpt looks great and I want to see a purple painted version.

But then it is quite small which is harder to get the details done. Awe that's no excuse I need to practice some more. Must... get... more... Sculpey!
