The Python is back again, I wonder if he will have a cunning and cool plan this time that generates a lot of excitement for the readers.

20 months! This will sort of be the longest Phantom story ever! ("sort of" because it is to be divided into five parts) Sounds as if we could expect a really extraordinary story.

Didn't think about that, Karl Man. However, I'm not sure if it can rival the terrific "Heart of Darkness" when it comes to the title of "longest Phantom story". I seem to remember that story was close to 400 pages long.

I forgot about "Heart of Darkness", though I think the correct number of pages of the original stroy was about 350, then a newly produced sequel was added which would make the story close to 400 pages.
Anyway, It is surely the longest daily story.

I just read the latest strips.

So, this old man has been in prison for 50 years, he is blind, but could still make perfect heads of the Phantom, Dogai Singh, and Diana as they currently looks like. It is not strange when he makes the Phantom, but making the others means that he is a really strange man.

Has he only been blind for a year? Has the Phantom and Diana visited Boomsby? Tony DePaul has a lot to explain!

I think the old man might be sort of a mystic. Perhaps Python's equivalent to Old Man Mozz?

All I can say is what I have already said elsewhere online:

If they truly kill Diana I will be totally disenchanted. Diana appeared in the very first panel of the very first phantom comic strip back in 1936, before the phantom himself. She is a staple in the strip and should not be killed off.

A look like Namor....but that isn't right, obviously.

Judging by the hair style K could be one of the Bandar.

So now Luaga's wife is mentioned. DePaul has apparently gone with Taru, but most of us know her as miss Tagama.

This is good.

I agree, I haven't been this excited about a Phantom story since the Invisible Children trilogy. It's made me start reading the strip online every single day, whereas before I would occasionally catch up with it only when I felt like it.

It's always great to see stories involving the man behind the Phantom mask a bit more than usual. We don't get enough of them.

I really hope that Diana has survived somehow, anything else is simply unthinkable. Though it could take a while before that is revealed of course.
