I heard Jim Shepherd doesn't like the style of Vallvé. Shock! Horror! Shudder!

Singh Mastermind Posts: 863 Group: Members Member #309 Joined: March 16, 2008	I picked this up last Thursday along with Moonstone #6 and i have to say from a distance the cover looked good but up close not so much had a quick flick though the story on my train ride home but haven't yet had a chance to read it properly. The story appears to have "borrowed" a few elements from Falk's works. Namely, Hero being stolen and The Phantom being drugged before a fight. I found it strange that The Phantom was willing to take a knife to a knife fight, as he is usually capable of beating an armed man with his fists and wit. Such a portrayal kind of lessons his skills. In any case the knife seems to have disappeared when The Phantom started to get a bit wobbly on his feet.

Seven pages in I knew I was right and closed the book, put it down and picked up another comic that is actually worth the cost of the paper it's printed on. Utter tosh.
