Snakes Lizards and Crocodillians of Borneo and Mainland Malaysia.

Snakes are hard to find and spot so if your scared of them dont worry as they are elusive, mad people like me have to go out of our way to find them.

Small wall lizards of the Gecko family are the most commonly seen. These are harmless to all but mosquitos and other small bugs. Geckos are your friend, unless you like being bitten by mozzi? Didnt think so! :)

Larger monitor lisards are usually found on riverbanks and swampy areas next to rivers and they run when they see you, or are fast asleep on a branch legs draped down the sides.

Crocodillians, there are none where we are going to be living in the KElabit Highlands and you will have to go to the Crocodile farm in Miri or to a wildlife park with a guide to see them. Again, elusive and remote.
