I just wrote this, like in the span of fifteen minutes, and well, this is from my character's point of view, Lelani, feeling trapped almost by this feeling of love she holds for Jareth who is not even aware of it yet, and it hurts her so much sometimes, she wishes she didn't have a heart to feel with. But it's not just Jareth, it's also about Michael and Gabriel even, and in general, about living. So yeah...hope you likes!

Under a perilous moon I fall
So far from grace
So far from truth
I can hear the abandoned echoes of misery
And my eyes have dried up
No longer able to release this searing pain

Under the perilous screech of a monster I fall
So far from peace
So far from hope
I feel its razor sharp claws tearing into me
And I’ve lost my voice
No longer able to scream life into this desolation of mine

Under the perilous gaze of a madman I fall
So far from sanity
So far from myself
I can taste the metallic rust of blood in the corners of my soul
And my mind has run with the devil
No longer able to conceive the insanity stalking within my eyes

Under a perilous kiss of love I fall
So far from redemption
So far from you
I can feel the clutch of sorrow brimming with darkness
And my heart turns to ash
No longer able to feel the flames of hell’s eternal bliss

And then, under the perilous gaze of your blue eyes
I surrender to this cold heart
No longer able to feel nothing.

Nothing.

Now I can live.
