Honestly, i'm skipping the precedented format and doing it my way! - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Finally, Metroid Prime 3 gets a subtitle. Already, this game is looking better than Echoes. I won't make such a bold statement yet, however. I can't say such a thing without actually playing it. Also, looks like Ridley will be in the game, woot. Attacking your enemies with the Grapple Beam is good too, yay. Apparently you will have to use the Grapple Beam to take the shield off enemies, so you can damage them. Oh, and the art for it looks amazing. - The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess So, we've been waiting for this game for a while. It's good to see some footage of it, finally. But two versions? Meh. Granted, it's not a bad move considering it will most likely sell well on both systems (Wii and GameCube). I wish there was more gameplay shown, though. The magnetic properties of the Iron Boots made me go "oh snaps." So that was cool. I also like the demonstration of the bow and arrow. Funny name or not, the Wii controller certainly looks fun. Also, a built in speaker on the controller to enhance some sound effects is a nice touch. Not absolutely necessary perhaps, but cool stuff indeed. - Yoshi's Island 2 OH. MY. GOD. When I heard about this sequel to Yoshi's Island, I almost fell off my chair. I absolutely love Yoshi's Island on the SNES, it's one of my favorite games of all time. No matter how annoying Baby Mario is when he cries, that game is uber fun. Very, very, very much looking forward to that DS title. - Super Paper Mario Woot, Paper Mario gets more love. However, this isn't the traditional Paper Mario. Paper Mario for the N64 will always be the best. <3. It seems to be a platforming spin-off of the Paper Mario series, meaning it behaves like a platformer but looks like paper. Clever. - Super Mario Galaxies Weee (or Wiiii?), another Mario title. Didn't hear too much about it, but it has caught my attention and does look pretty fun. |
| "After a great workout, you'll happily go hit the weight room, or add extra miles, or eat spinach and broccoli. But what will you do when you're feeling like crap, or all your friends are going out, or it's pouring rain, or you're running poorly? To keep striving over the course of years, you need to smooth out the natural highs and lows of your desire, so that you have a constant and unrelenting force that drives you off the sofa and out to run. Every day. Twice." | |

Wii: SSBB, Super Mario Galaxies DS: LoZ:PHG PS3: Killzone, MGS4 360: Halo 3, Gears of War Reason why Metroid Prime 3 is not on my list: Looks exactly like Echoes (to me at least), ew. And I think I read somewhere that you'll be traveling to different plants like in Hunters, automatically ruins the game right there. |

Wii - Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Project Hammer, Twilight Princess durr, and of course Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. GCN - Super Paper Mario DS - Elite Beat Agents, Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 Xbox 360 - Gears of War, Halo 3, Fable 2, Ninety Nine Nights
Looks exactly graphics-wise? :S To me, Metroid Prime Corruption definitely looks next-gen. This video really shows off the great lighting and shading effects the Wii can do. But then again, the videos shown online are just low-resolution videos. Must look much more amazing on a regular TV, and better on HD.
How does that ruin the game? :l Please, explain to me, as I really enjoyed the MPH single player mode. :| |
