Yeah, I agree, NiGHTS probably won't sell too great here. As Meta said, it's too much of an underground game. The Wii is marketed a lot more to casual gamers, and casual gamers don't even know games like that exist. I'll probably rent it next month though if Hollywood has it. |

It was like that in the original, too, but I bet it's a bit more annoying in JoD because of the added element of in-chapter cutscenes. |

I got it. It ain't half bad. A little clunky, but the chapter restart thing ain't so bad. Just make sure you're using the nunchuk, 'cause motion control flying SUCKS. As of right now, I give it a 7.5. |

Got it early. =) I just got the Intelligence Ideya as Helen. I agree with Soviet - you'll need a nunchuk, or better, classic controller for this. (With the CC you get easier camera control in the Will/Helen solo segments.) I find it's not to clunky once you get used to it. Feels a little looser than the Saturn game to me, though. And hey, the CG scenes are glorious, as is the music (Anyone else blown away by the Dream Gate track?). And the minigames aren't annoying! One thing that bugs me is the addition of the green rings; a big part of strategy in the original title was to be very stingy with the boost on the last lap so you have enough to dispose of the boss. The green recharge rings in boss fights eliminate that layer of depth. Also, it's too bad you can't fly over or under the Ideya Cage. It might be interesting as I get better at it; I'll likely learn not to kill the birds early and use more time racking up points before starting the next Mare. Online races are cool. I totally owned a guy named Jonathan. XD Overall, I think a 7.6 is about right this far. |

Yeah, I just beat Will's story yesterday. It's definitely something you have to adjust to, but once I did, it was even better than I thought. But I still think that around a 7.5 is an ideal rating. |

After playing Helen's finale, I can safely rate the game an 8/10. But there's a lot of tie-ins to the original game, so it will be slightly less awesome if you haven't played Into Dreams. But awesome nonetheless. Btw: I'm 353rd in the world |

MEGA ENDING SPOILERS Do not read unless you've seen the REAL ending (If you haven't, beat all missions with both kids with a C rank or better, then beat the final stage again) (quote post to read) NiGHTS IS DEAD AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH |

For some reason, I'm thinking that the first ending is the canon one...but it's not like it matters, anyway. The sales for the game have been poor, and it got mixed reactions, so it's unlikely at this point that they'll make a third title (of course, this is exempting the Japan-only remake of the original). |
