I do; I have both Visual Boy Advance and Project 64 on my flash drive, and I take it to school and play during free periods (and web design next year). It's actually pretty fun to play on, except that there's no joystick and therefore games like Smash are hard (but not impossible) to play.

wow your schools firewall is a lot nicer than the one at my school, I can't run any applications off of a flash drive. but my friend and i are on a mission to install firefox on all of the computers...

I only use ROMs for games that are only out in japan, or games that are really rare... ask llama he uses them a lot

Well, my school's firewall only applies to websites, and I need no websites to use my flash drive so yeah...also, the librarians understand that a lot of kids save their projects and stuff on a flash drive (another use mine has) and therefore they allow it.

oh we do to, but we can only acces files from our flash drives, as soon as you try to start an application off of the flash drive, it won't allow it

I never have. I don't really care that much about the stealing, though; I'd bet that controlling them on the compy flat-out sucks.

I dunno, though.

That's another reason I don't use them, it's impossible to play on the keyboard.

I have an adapter that makes a PS2 controller a USB gamepad. It's so awesome, and I use it for everything.

Or buy a Xbox 360 wired controller :D

lets see here...

Usually I don't run emulators on my PC... If I wanna play a ROM I'll usually play it either on my Xbox (PSone, N64, SNES, Genesis) , Wii (N64, SNES, NES), or DS (DS, NES)... The control schemes for them are usually better than what you get on the PC.

Hah, the whole reason I bought a PSP was to mod that sucker. It runs NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX, GBA, and GBC games perfectly. There's also a Capcom CPS2 emulator for Capcom arcade games that ran on the CPS2 board. It runs them flawlessly, so I can play Marvel vs. Capcom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, and Street Fighter Alpha 1-3 on my PSP. It's much better than getting the PlayStation versions of those games because they all suck compared to the arcade versions.
