yeah nintendo will usually fix stuff to keep cred with gamers
or they make things basically bullet proof. like the DS for example, I've dropped it and it's fallen down the stairs twice, and still works fine, but there are a few scratches.

If you have an issue, get a tissue.

The DS is so unstable. I got a phat on launch. It broke. I then replaced it with a new phat. That broke too. I then pooled together some money and bought a lite. That broke as well. I am now on my second lite, and fourth DS. Don't say its stable.

Are you trying to say I don't take care of my belongings?

idk sounds like bad luck to me (that or "user error") , I've dropped mine a few times, and once even into a 1/4 of water (it was in a cloth case, but it still got wet)... and mine is fine, mine is one of the MKDS ones I got it about a month after that package came out...

I'd say the DS is far more stable than the 360... and then there's the GC, nothings gunna stop that thing :P

Yeah, the DS (original anyway) is really really stable. My first DS lasted from Christmas 2004 to May 2006 (I broke the hinge right off...XD). Got my second DS (again, original) the next month, still fine to this day.

Yeah, the hinge is the main problem. Once I accidentally broke that, the whole thing was hanging, and the thing got destroyed. I'm glad they stabilized the lite more. Although, my first lite's L and R buttons broke...

Yeah, my lites L button got a bit iffy after too much Mario kart drifting. You had to kind of.. push and slide it up a bit to get it to work lol xD

My Wii has been on a few road trips and the top has come off, it still works fine. It's really dirty though, and a lil beat up. I doubt I'd get another Wii if this one broke... I'd be like, screw it, I'm saving for a new amp or a laptop, if anyone needs me I'll be playing guitar.
