If you still keep up with Nintendo, you'll know that Pikmin 1 and Mario Power Tennis were re-released for the Wii, with new controls. Apparently, both games work a lot better on the Wii than they did on the GameCube. So, my question is, what cube games would you like to see re-released with new play control? Which games do you think could pull off the motion control scheme without ruining the game? I'd like to see Wind Waker on the Wii, with Twilight Princess-ish controls (the reason I say ish is because they will need to be altered slightly, so Link can crouch, crawl, and use his Mirror Shield). I think the game would play pretty well on the Wii. Also, the Wii Remote is perfect for use as the Wind Waker itself. |

Personally, I'd prefer if Ninty would focus on developing more games from the ground up for the Wii as opposed to remakes from the Gamecube gen. Having said that, the whole concept of New Play Control is just SCREAMING "Luigi's Mansion", methinks. |

Sunshine could prove more clunky than awesome with new play controls, though...depends on if they nail it or not. |

um the answer is none, make new games. Seriously I have all but abandoned Nintendo, I bought an acekard2i for my DSi, and it was probably the best purchase i have made. I figure if i am to play shitty games why should i have to pay for them. If i find a game i like i will buy it, because it means that maybe they will make more good games. Nintendo should seriously just make new games, even squeals to those games for Wii would be better than just a port in my opinion. I would rather see a pikmin 3, or you know a NEW Mario tennis game, instead of just a port from a last gen system Core Nintendo fans asked for good games to come out on Wii, not good Game cube games to come out on Wii, i don't really understand what they're going for here, the system came out last gen so there really is no nostalgia to it, and they are just updating the game a little and changing controls to a scheme that i probably wouldn't like Edited by Xan, Friday Aug 7 2009, 11:06 AM.

While I agree, we both know how likely it is that they will focus on new games and not remakes. Which I why I made this topic. =P |

I agree with Tennis, but the lack of a Mario Golf is due to the fact that Nintendo no longer owns Camelot. |

Pfft. What would be the point when they could spend so much less effort by rereleasing the older iterations, which would arguably sell just as well... Ninty might be making some dickhead moves, but they're still a business. They do what can make them the most profit, and I'm sure NPC makes them a helluva load of cash. |

Well, my main question for this thread was what NPC games would you actually buy? As I said, I would actually buy Wind Waker on the Wii. |
