How long do you think it will be until the next generation of Nintendo systems is announced? I personally think it's going to be a while longer than any of Nintendo's other systems. First off, this time in the GameCube Era, they had already announced that they were working on a "revolutionary new system", but so far now we've got no word. Not to mention that the Wii is raking in the dough right now. So, Nintendo just thinks "why make some effort when we're still rolling with cash?"

So, I doubt it will be for a while. We might even be "skipping" a generation, I think.

Nintendo hasn't released the console in other colors yet, so we still have a few years.

I'd say it'll be announced in about 2-3 years, and released in probably 5 years. Of course, who knows what'll happen; the Wii has ginormous potential as far as milking is concerned, and I'm sure Ninty will want every cent of it.

I want Troy to share his $5 footlong with me.
They're prolly working on one, they just haven't fully decided what to do yet. And yeah, I'd reckon about 5 years is a good bet. This generation looks set to last a while...
