Elh Melizee Plushie
Lash Plushie updated with hair that actually looks like what would be on the character:
Pabu from Legend of Korra
Skipper from Zelda: Skyward Sword
Data from Mega Man Legends is done:
Skyward Sword Beetle Plushie. The most adorable Zelda item (IMO) ever now in plush form.
Tee hee hee! First version. The latest version has better hair.

I made this over a month ago, even before my giraffe plushie. It's Pinkie Pie. I know not everyone likes My Little Pony so please don't be rude to me or my work if you belong in that category. I never took pics of it when it was just made so it looks like it has a bit of wear and tear thanks to being handled by toddlers. She was made for my younger sister.[/color]
Original Plush: Sewing Giraffe
Djinn Tote Bag
While I was away from here, I got into a new hobby. Making Plushies. It started when I was into Mega Man 9 so most of my plushies are Mega Man (Classic only) related but I made for Pokemon, Okami, Digimon and even something Golden Sun related stuff though at this point it is only a Mercury Djinni and I am not so proud of it. It was one of my earlier ones too so it doesn't look good as my recent stuff anyway. I plan to get started on a Sveta plushie and an Amiti plushie as soon as I finish my finals as they are my favorite Dark dawn characters.
My plushies got quite a bit of fame in the Mega Man world. I even got my Cut Man plushie signed by Inafune. I was heartbroken when he left Capcom because seeing him smile at my Cut Man plush and even having the interpreter help me and Jgonzo chat with him really made my day. And then to have him leave after all of that.
I'll direct link you to my stuff but my gallery is here anyway http://shinygirafarig.deviantart.com/gallery/
Golden Sun Related:
Advance Wars Related
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/kairipower/Nanamicopy-2.jpg This is not yet uploaded to my deviantart. I entered this in a Capcom-Unity contest but they still never announced the winners. When they announce the winners I will upload it to deviantart.
Animal Crossing Related:
http://shinygirafarig.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2x5pnu (probably one of my best. I am not into Digimon but this came about because of an Art Trade)
Oh noes, Mega Man related:
FAAAAAAAABUUUUUUUULOOOOUUUUUS MAN! (aka Jewel Man)
Sheep Man (the one who started my fame)
Magma Man (I still think this is my most accurate one)
Strike Man (jgonzo told me in person this is his favorite, wish I brought him to Comic Con along with my Cut Man plushie)
Cut Man before Inafune saw it
Cut Man after Inafune saw it
Napalm Man Plushie
I also have non plushie related stuff but I'll just post Golden Sun stuff here. The rest you can look into my gallery.
"Howling" (Dark dawn related which includes many party members but no spoilers, done when Sveta was first revealed)
Phew. Done. Will update with more stuff as they come.
I also plan to have a Temple exclusive and show you pictures of the Sveta and Amiti plushies as they are being made. Would you like to see them as their work progresses or would you rather only see the final product?

Eternity Awaits You and Me
|Wow. Those are SO CUTE. You should take orders.|
|Elsa||Dec 17 2010, 10:38 AM Post #5|
I have been meaning to try to do commissions for the longest time but I have no idea how to get started. And I have no idea what price range they should be in either. All these guys are hand sewed by me. If you look at the Nanami (under Okami) one, you will see scales on her. Yup, every single scale was sewn on by me, no shortcuts were taken for them. The price would include the amount spent on materials, commute, shipping and also amount of hours, but I am not sure how to make the price fair for me and for the buyer so this is what is preventing me from starting commissions just yet.

Eternity Awaits You and Me
|Well, start by figuring out how expensive they usually are. If that's way too high for what consumers would be willing to pay, then use cheaper materials or less detail. Or ask them to take the plunge for the higher price because it's worth it, or take the plunge for the lower price because you think it's worth losing a bit of money (though the last option would be my least recommended choice).|
|Elsa||Dec 17 2010, 10:56 AM Post #7|
If they do not mind having only felt than that would be the cheapest in materials. For my Sveta plushie I plan to either use faux fur (see my Blaire plushie and my Magma Man plushie) or another material that imitates fur, use yarn for the hair (I hated using doll hair for the Nanami plush, it was too messy and it is very hard to control and hard to find). I do not know what to use for the clothes. I also sew in materials rather than use fabric markers for clothes designs and for things like the irises in the eyes. No glue is used either.
Because this Sveta plush is for me I do not care about the expenses but if someone would want one they have to take that into consideration.

*just sits there and stares*
You better have pics of the rest of your plushie makings once they're done. I don't think the rioters could handle it otherwise.

|These are awesome.|
|Elsa||Dec 18 2010, 09:27 PM Post #11|
Magma Man seems to be a favorite by many folks. I guess the red fake fur really brought out its adorableness. Sorry I do not feel like making plushies from the other series. The classic ones are the simplest in design and they already give me problems.
Of course. I can't wait to finish my Sveta and Amiti plushies. (First I need to get started by buying their materials)
|Raven the Obsidian||Dec 18 2010, 09:30 PM Post #12|
I like you. A lot. A hell of a lot. *is Amiti fanboy*
That said, these are great and I look forward to seeing more
|Gilgamesh||Dec 18 2010, 09:35 PM Post #13|
|It's perfectly fine if you just make Classic character plusies. Personally I don't think the other series would fit as well, due to the more complicated designs and darker and edgier setting/plot. And yes, the red fur for the flames is awesome.|

I have more pictures of my Mega man plushies in different poses here: http://www.capcom-unity.com/shinygirafarig/go/gallery/view/1?pref_tab=photos
The place you will see Sheep Man in is when I went to the Nintendo World event (they did a renovation recently so Nintendo World looks a bit different now).
Also wanna see a homemade Bass Plushie by someone I befriended on Capcom-Unity?
|Gilgamesh||Dec 18 2010, 10:02 PM Post #15|
Hm, looking at them from different angles really shows how well you made them.
And goddamn that is an awesome Bass. Would've been better if he had a smirk instead of just an outright smile, but still damn awesome.

Professional Tornado Snout-Puncher
|Awww these are so cute and amazing! Awesome job. X3 I tried making plushies a few months ago and worked on it for awhile, but it was just too difficult. ;_; Because of that though, I can really respect how much time and work you put into these to make them so well made and adorable!|

The Star-Spangled Toad In The Mode (7)
Hey Boyd, a Servbot plushie would totally work. D:
But yeah, your plushie work is simply amazing, SG. I can barely put a thread through a needle, let alone craft anything, so this really wows me. You put so much care and detail in these creations of yours. Well done with everything so far and keep up the good work!
(Also super excited for an Amiti plushie and are you still doing Issun perhaps?)
|Delfeir||Dec 19 2010, 03:01 PM Post #18|
Pretty much the worst dragon ever
|If you do sort out of the pricing, let me know. I'd seriously consider buying one, especially if you figure out how to make a good Sveta one. That said, all of these are really good.|
|Elsa||Dec 19 2010, 03:18 PM Post #19|
I made a few failed plushies before I got very good. If you really want to make them you need to keep trying again and again until you got the gist of it.
Maybe I will make an Issun one. Servbots and even data the monkey (that's his name right, never played Legends) are able to translate well as plushies. Characters like Zero, not so much.
Well, another thing is how exactly do I take commissions. Do I set up a paypal account? Or do I make an ebay store/Etsy store for a "middleman" if people want to pay by credit card? And I know the Etsy store bills me every month for when the store is active. Maybe I should ask people who take commisions on deviantart who are watching me to see how they do it. Also are buyers willing to pay shipping with a tracking number? If I sell I am going to restrict shipping to those that use tracking numbers. I am afraid of the BS people will pull if I ship without a tracking number. Someone can say something like "I never got it, may I have my money back?" when in truth they did get it but they are trying to steal from me. With a tracking number at least I can tell if the item arrived or not and the buyer benefits from knowing when it comes as well.
I plan to make a Sveta plushie for myself, if there is enough demand to start commissions and I feel comfortable starting a store I will make a duplicate for you if you like how my Sveta turned out (and I am going to keep the pattern and not throw it out, I already discarded most of my other plushies' patterns so I am going to be starting from scratch if someone wants something like a Splash Woman plushie). I am also now going to keep track of material pricing and hours put into the sewing.

|Depending on pricing I'd definitely buy an Amiti plush. I am kinda poor though, so I probably couldn't (´・ω・)つ|
