The roty must be 0-360, the only thing that i can tell you is the use of this scripts:
Code:

//script 'degree'
value=argument0;
while(value>360){
value-=360;}
while(value<0){
value+=360;}
return value;
//end of script

//Step Event of the object:
roty=degree(roty)

This will limt the variable roty from 0 to 360. In this way you can do selections, for example:

You have an object with roty=720. It appears like a 0 degrees rotated model, but if you write:
Code:

if roty=0 ...

the condition isn't verified and it will do a 'bug'. I hope you have unterstood.

Sorry if there are mistakes. I'm not english... ;)
Sorry if i've made some errors, I'm not english!
