I have alot of Bmp files where the backround is just black and ... They are like partical effects... like cool effects, anyway i could load the texture or.. whatever in a way so it makes it look good instead of a black square? and makes the images clear except for the explosion color? lol WEEEEEE

You have to make alpha channel. Gimp is a good software for doing this http://www.gimp.org/. But I prefer Photoshop. |

Gosh , thats Freaking annoying im not sure how to do it without removing some of the Quality//prettyness of them. I packed them into a ZIp.... here they are... but like how Do i do it without removing that stuff quality and such.... and does it take a lot of time? and idk why but i think u gotta get the SDK and like 2 other things to download GIMP for windows.. what a pain in the ass.. I have PhotoImpact... great program.. i just tried transparency of a color( black) the background of all these image.s.. well here they are.. if anyone can show me.. its possible to change em... with 100% quality http://www.freepgs.com/djguy/ZIP.zip |

lol, same problem here
I have used Gimp to make a aphla channel and I know gimp did it right because it came transparent. Then I exported it to png. I got the boarder I did it about 3 times in Gimp and got the same problem. Next up ImageReady. Made the background transparent and then exported it to the next best transparent format TGA. Sadly I got the same issue again. I think there is something wrong with the engine.
