Hey how's it going?? I'm a new member (longtime lurker :ph43r: ), I am UnionJack on the gmc... anyway, just wondering, can ultimate 3d use gm's native movement functions?? if not, would it be simple enough to get them to work myself?? also, can I apply textures to .x files through code, even though they cannot be loaded through the loadmesh() function itself? |
| think you know me?? I am UnionJack on the GMC | |

Do you get an unexpected error when using the native gm functions, or what? In principle it should be working, but the current version of U3D causes unhandled exceptions sometimes and this can make the game crash when you use the normal GM functions. Since U3D 2.0 is a complete remake of U3D there won't be any unhandled exceptions anymore. |

Well than you can use the GM functions of course. And about your second question: In the current version you can't. In U3D 2.0 that will be possible. But U3D should use the texture file given by the material description of the *.x file. If it doesn't you could try using *.3ds files. |
